Continuing Education

Education is one of PHCCVA’s top priorities. Whether you are a business owner, journeyman or apprentice, PHCCVA has educational opportunities for you.

Help your emloyees advance through online apprenticeship

Do you have employees who ably represent your company?  They do a great job and demonstrate integrity and customer service excellence.  BUT, these employees are not yet licensed tradesmen.  What better way to grow your company than to grow your employees!
PHCC VA now offers online apprenticeship.  We provide the education component (at the student's own pace) and you provide on the job training.  To date more than 50 apprentices have advanced their careers through the online program.
Since there is no set schedule, apprentices pursuing e.Learning must be self-disciplined and self-motivated to maintain steady progress. Employer support and monitoring can be an effective method for addressing this issue.
E.Learning places primary responsibility for learning on the apprentice. When needed, most apprentices ask their employer or a colleague for assistance.
    An application form is below.
For more information, please contact PHCC VA at 757/374-8121 or by email at Info@PHCCVA.com.
